The Shake family honors the memory of Sabu Shake Sr. with a creative and exotic fundraiser to support the outstanding programs provided locally by the Salvation Army, Monterey Peninsula Corps.

The Salvation Army continues to make a difference in the lives of those that are in need in our community, and we want to continue our father's tradition of giving. Now more than ever, the need to give back to our community is at an all time high. The recent fires and economic losses that families are now facing have caused deep cuts to our children's education. The Salvation Army programs provide our community with the Good Samaritan Center, Child Development Center, Youth Center, Evening Youth Programming, Transitional Housing and a Family Assistance Residence Program.

Our Safari auction and dinner experience will be an evening to remember. For this special event Executive Chefs from all of the Shake family restaurants, along with guest chefs, will provide an incredible dining experience including fine wines and amazing desserts. In an exotic Safari setting with the generosity of our community, we have created a fantastic silent and live auction featuring unique travel and golf packages, fine dining, superior wine and sports memorabilia. Charlie Sammut, owner of Wild Things, will visit us with some of his exotic animals including his famous elephants.
With your generosity we can all make a difference in the lives of those that are in need of housing, education, food and quality programming.
